Current Chief of Protocol of foreign ministry of the Maldives, Mr Ibrahim Shaheeb’s appointment as High Commissioner to Singapore from Maldives has been approved by Maldives parliament.

Mr Ibrahim Shaheeb, was approved to the new position with 58 votes during the parliamentary sitting on Sunday afternoon.

Since 1991, Mr Ibrahim Shaheeb has been working in different positions of the Foreign ministry and he has also served in various diplomatic missions overseas.
