President Dr Mohamed Muizzu commenced a tour of several islands in Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, and the North and South Huvadhu Atolls this morning.
During his tour, the President will engage with city and island councils and the Women’s Development Committees (WDCs). President Dr Muizzu will also meet with city and island communities to discuss the intended developmental plans for their respective communities and share their concerns with the President.
President Dr Muizzu previously stated that he would work closely with the people to deliver developmental promises. In alignment with his commitment to ensure development for the people through a hands-on approach, the President will personally visit and collaborate with local councils to ensure that developmental projects resonate with the people’s aspirations.
A high-level government delegation will accompany the President on this tour.
