President Dr. Mohammed Muizzu is set to embark on a door-to-door campaign today to garner support for candidates contesting the upcoming Parliamentary elections under the banner of the ruling Congress Party.

A senior official from the Progressive National Congress (PNC) informed Ras Online that the President's campaign will kick off this afternoon, marking a strategic move to engage directly with voters and bolster the prospects of Congress Party candidates.

The official revealed that President Muizzu's first stop will be the West Henveyru constituency, where he will personally visit households to convey the party's message and rally support for its candidates.

Notably, President Muizzu has primarily focused his campaign efforts on the Islands leading up to this initiative. Till March 9th, spanning 33 days, he has conducted extensive meetings with 150 Island councils, laying the groundwork for the Congress Party's electoral strategy.

With 89 candidates set to contest the parliamentary elections on the PNC ticket, President Muizzu's door-to-door campaign signals a concerted effort to mobilize grassroots support and secure victory for the ruling party.
