The local man who passed away this Sunday evening is the 51st death reported from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
The 86-year-old man was admitted to Dharumavantha Hospital for further treatment to Covid-19, while he passed away at 04:27 am on this Sunday. The Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms that this would be the 51st Covid-19 death from the Maldives.
So far, over 14,000 cases have been reported positive to Covid-19 in the Maldives, out of which, over 13,000 infected people have been recovered.
