The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, participated in the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders (IGWEL) High-level Luncheon on “Charting a Global Security and Growth Agenda” during the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth and Energy for Development today.

The High-level Luncheon brought together approximately 80 policymakers, business leaders, and experts from different sectors to discuss and exchange views on addressing global security challenges faced by the world today.

Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders (IGWEL) sessions are the World Economic Forum’s highest-level sessions and participation is by invitation only.

Minister Zameer will participate in high-level events and sessions throughout the Conference which are aimed at forging partnerships to foster global collaboration. He will also engage with his counterparts and other leaders from government, heads of international organizations, business leaders, and academia.

The World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development is jointly organized by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Economic Forum. The Meeting will bring together over 700 leaders from all sectors to engage in meaningful dialogue to address shared global challenges.
