President Mohammed Muizzu has pledged to tackle the obstacles faced by individuals in obtaining health insurance, following concerns raised during the "Raees ge Javaabu" series initiated by the President's Office to directly engage with citizens.

Responding to a query posed by Hussain Taufeeq from Gdh. Gadhdhoo, who highlighted difficulties encountered by private individuals in accessing health insurance services, President Muizzu acknowledged the challenges and expressed his commitment to addressing them.

Taufeeq outlined the issues faced by individuals, including the need to pay upfront for medical appointments and subsequent reimbursement delays, urging for simplified insurance procedures to alleviate financial burdens on citizens.

In response, President Muizzu affirmed his intention to engage with relevant agencies to streamline the health insurance system, particularly concerning public participation, emphasizing the importance of creating a more accessible and efficient framework for individuals seeking insurance coverage.
