Maldivian Airlines, the national carrier of the Maldives, has unveiled special pricing for domestic flights during the holy month of Ramadan. In a recent announcement, Maldivian revealed reduced fares as part of a promotional offer, providing travelers with affordable options to explore the country's picturesque islands.

Under the special promotion, travelers can enjoy discounted one-way fares from Velana International Airport to eight domestic airports across the Maldives. Notable fares include a one-way ticket to S. Gan priced at MVR 1222, Fuvahmulak at MVR 1155, and G.dh. Kaadedhdhoo at MVR 1,333.

Additionally, Maldivian has lowered one-way fares to Ga. Kooddoo and Hdh. Hanimaadhoo to MVR 1,111, and to L. Kahdhoo at MVR 1,055. For those planning to explore N. Maafaru and R. Ifuru, one-way tickets are available for MVR 999, offering affordable travel options for residents and visitors alike.

The announcement comes as Maldivian continues to expand its domestic flight services, having recently signed an agreement with ATR to acquire two additional aircraft. This strategic move underscores Maldivian's commitment to enhancing connectivity and facilitating seamless travel experiences within the archipelago.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu had pledged to reduce domestic airfares as part of his electoral promises. The initiative aligns with the government's efforts to promote accessible and affordable travel options for citizens across the Maldives, fostering tourism growth and economic development in the region.
