The Fahi Dhiriulhun Cooperation (FDC) has said that the flat agreements will be signed within three days after the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) decides on the 4,000 flats allocated under the Gedhoruveriya Housing scheme, introduced during the former government.

The FDC said in a short video posted on social media that the flat agreements have been printed. However, more details will be revealed later, the video said.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has issued an order to suspend the allotment of flats due to numerous complaints filed by people stating that the points were not allocated fairly in the permanent list prepared by the previous government. The ACC has found that the list of flat recipients was compiled inaccurately, and points were awarded to those who did not meet the eligibility criteria.

The ACC said it would decide on the matter soon.
