Addu Meedhoo MP Rozaina Adam has stated that there will be no peace in the country under the rule of former President and current president of MDP Mohamed Nasheed.
Rozaina's comments come at a time when President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Nasheed are campaigning competitively for the MDP presidential primary. The two candidates and their supporters are launching strong verbal attacks against each other.
MP Rozaina said that a person who loves chaos cannot bring peace. She said that therefore for that reason, there is no chance of stability in Maldives under President Nasheed.
The Meedhoo MP said that President Solih is a person who loves peace and the one who can rule, too, is him.
"A person who loves chaos cannot bring peace. For this reason, there is no chance of peace in this country under Nasheed's rule. President Ibu is a peace lover. The one who can do this is Ibu," said Rozaina.
The MDP presidential primary election will be held on the 28th of this month. The two candidates have increased their campaign activities as the election approaches.
