The Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has donated MVR 300,000 from the sale of souvenir tickets in Maldives to the Palestinian Football Association (PFA).

The funds were raised during the Palestinian Under-17 team’s 10-day training camp in the Maldives, during which they played two friendly matches against the Maldives Under-17 football team. The Palestinian side won both matches convincingly, with scores of 6–0 and 3–0.

Souvenir tickets were sold to support the PFA, with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef among the buyers. Two categories of tickets were available: 50 Souvenir Platinum 50 tickets and 200 Souvenir Gold tickets. Souvenir Platinum tickets were sold for MVR 1,000 with VVIP seating, while Souvenir Gold tickets were sold for MVR 500 for VIP seating.

FAM confirmed that all proceeds from ticket sales have been handed over to the Palestinian team. The association noted that the donation highlights its longstanding support for Palestinian football during times of conflict and reaffirmed its commitment to continue extending such assistance in the future.
