Following the decision to lift the suspension of international flights and to open the land and sea entry points to the Kingdom, a group of pilgrims coming from Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta, arrived at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport on Saturday night.

As per the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah os Saudi Arabia, pilgrims from Indonesia will go from the airport directly to their accommodation, where they will spend a period of time in isolation before performing the pilgrimage.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is keen to ensure a safe Umrah and thus raised the readiness of all Umrah services and companies in order to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey during their stay in the Kingdom. Hence the ministry called on pilgrims to adhere to the precautionary measures and guidelines to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from the moment of their arrival until their departure.
