The President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, has assured to provide land plots to the beneficiaries of the "Binveriya (land owner)" Housing Scheme.

He stated this in response to a public query on the "Raees ge Javaabu" series, initiated by the President's Office, enabling the President to directly respond to inquiries on social media.

In response to a query from Ibrahim Samah of Male' City regarding the lack of clarity surrounding the land plots allotted from Giraavarufalhu and Gulhifalhu by the previous administration, the President said the registration and issuance of land registration of all those who received land under the Binveriya (land owner) Housing Scheme is going at a rapid pace.

The President further emphasized that, in cases where plots are allotted from unreclaimed regions, registration may lawfully be granted upon completion of reclamation. However, the process of issuing a temporary document to all landowners is in progress to ensure that they have acquired land.

"Even if it's from the Gulhifalhu, or Giravaru falhu, or the dredging section of the Hulhumale', the process of issuing and allocating land is going on at a fast pace"
