His Excellency Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and member of the Cabinet of the State of Qatar, paid a courtesy call on President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu this afternoon at the President’s Office.
During the meeting, President Muizzu expressed appreciation to the Government of Qatar for its long-standing support and generous assistance, which have significantly contributed to the Maldives’ socioeconomic development.
Minister Al Muraikhi conveyed gratitude to the President and the Government of the Maldives for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him and his delegation.
Both sides reaffirmed the strong brotherly relations between Qatar and the Maldives and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including energy, education, investment, culture, and healthcare.
