President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a two-day visit to the inhabited islands of Fuvahmulah and Addu.

Upon his arrival in Fuvahmulah today, he was warmly welcomed by residents from different generations, reflecting the city’s strong community spirit.

During the visit, President Muizzu will meet with Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs) to discuss local development priorities and explore ways to enhance community well-being. He will also engage directly with residents to hear their concerns and suggestions.



The President’s itinerary includes visits to Fuvahmulah City and the Addu islands of Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Hulhudhoo, and Meedhoo.

The trip is part of President Muizzu’s ongoing nationwide initiative to visit all atolls and meet with local councils. He is accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials.
