An elderly man found with serious injuries in Aa. Maalhos has died while receiving treatment, police confirmed today.
The victim, Abdul Rahman Adam, 65, was discovered with critical injuries on Friday night. He succumbed to his injuries at 2:30 a.m. while being treated at the hospital.
No arrests have been made so far, and police have not disclosed details about the cause of the injuries. As part of the investigation, authorities have restricted movement on and off the island, with residents prohibited from leaving Maalhos without police permission.
