September 19th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 81 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 58 Maldivians and 23 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 70 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 11 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 9,649. This includes 1,422 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 111 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 8,188 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 25 resorts and in 22 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 15 Tourists and 39 staff.
Maldives has recorded 33 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
